Venue Description

The combination of the fabulous backdrop of Wakehurst Place and the 16th Century Mansion provide a memorable venue for a summer event.

A Grade 1 listed Heritage building, the Mansion was formerly owned by Lord Wakehurst and later the Price family, before being bequeathed to the National Trust and then later leased to Kew.

As part of your venue hire you will have exclusive use of the Gallery, Hallway and the Dining Room. Both rooms can accommodate up to 60 guests each for dining with the possibility of the rooms opening up to be used as one larger space for up to 120 guests.

The light and airy Gallery displaying botanical art and the adjoining Dining Room's open onto a formal lawn, where guests can sip cocktails or enjoy a summery barbecue.

Wakehurst place offers plentiful stunning grounds, the ideal space for a family fun day or activity event.

The venue also boasts a new exclusive evening venue for summer drinks and canapé receptions - the Millenium Seedbank at Wakehurst Place is a stunning glass venue and the largest Seedbank in the World, suitable for parties of up to 150.
